Examples of H.E.I.C. Petty Officers’ Records of Service

Source: BL: IOR: L/MAR/C/850A - Statements of Service, compiled in 1834, of E.I.C. Marine Boatswains, Carpenters and Gunners (also Commanders, Officers, Surgeons and Pursers)

Unlike those catalogued as L/MAR/C849 these are in original form, in seven individual parts as A to G (one hundred cases each). At the beginning of the volumes so far seen there is a copy of the typed alphabetical index giving the volume and part numbers.
